Meet your local home builder in Branson

We’re the Arnold family—Tyler, Erin, and our three kids—and GoodWorks Home Co. isn’t just our business, it’s our way of life. We’re Branson locals, raising our family here, and everything we do comes back to one thing: doing good work that honors God, serves our neighbors, and leaves this community better than we found it. We didn’t set out to build the biggest company. We just wanted to build a company we’d be proud of. One where craftsmanship mattered. Where honesty wasn’t optional. Where families could count on a handshake and a job done right. And that’s exactly what we’ve done—one home, one remodel, one relationship at a time.

Quiet lives. Honest work. Strong homes.

GoodWorks Home Co. is built around this scripture: “Aspire to live a quiet life, mind your own business, and work with your hands... so that you may walk properly before outsiders and be dependent on no one.” — 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12

That verse isn’t just something we put on our website—it’s how we try to live every day. We believe that honest work, done with your hands, is one of the purest ways to serve others. Whether we’re building a custom home or remodeling a guest bathroom, we approach it with humility, diligence, and care. We aren’t here to make a quick buck. We’re here to build something that lasts—because homes matter, and people matter more.

To us, building isn’t just about construction—it’s a calling. It’s our way of practicing stewardship and blessing others through service. Every project is a chance to create something meaningful and leave people better off than when we met them. That’s what we’re about. That’s what we hope you feel when you work with GoodWorks.

Meet the family behind GoodWorks Home Co.

We’re the Arnold family—Tyler, Erin, and our three kids. Tyler grew up right here in Branson and graduated from Branson High School in 2011. He’s hands-on with every project and deeply committed to building things the right way. Erin keeps the business running smoothly behind the scenes and brings warmth, organization, and care to every client relationship. Together, we’ve built GoodWorks to be more than a company—it’s our ministry, our livelihood, and our legacy.

Behind us is a small but mighty team of skilled craftsmen who share our values. They’re the kind of folks you can trust in your home. Hardworking, respectful, and proud of their work.

Tyler Arnold

The guy with the hammer, the know-how, and the calloused hands to prove it. Tyler leads every project with precision and pride. If it’s getting built, fixed, or finished—you can bet Tyler had a hand in it.

Erin Arnold

If it looks amazing or feels like home, Erin probably had something to do with it. She keeps the colors coordinated, the community connected, and the family running like clockwork (mostly).

Smiling child in green sweater and brown pants gives a rock on hand gesture in a field.

Bo Arnold

Bo keeps everyone in line—especially Dad. His favorite tools are the loud ones, and he’s never met a power drill he didn’t want to touch. Calls all meetings, even the imaginary ones.

Peyton Arnold

Peyton’s always on the job site with snacks in hand and zero regard for OSHA regulations. If there’s a ladder, she’s climbing it. If there’s candy, she’s sharing (sometimes).

Ella Arnold

Ella ensures Mom and Dad are running on exactly 3 hours of sleep and coffee. She hasn’t picked up a hammer yet, but she’s definitely in charge. Mostly of everyone's sleep schedule.

Questions people ask about GoodWorks Home Co.

  • Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, absolutely. We are fully licensed and insured to operate in Missouri, and we take that responsibility seriously. In addition to meeting all legal and safety requirements, we’re also members of the Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce. Our licensing and insurance are not just about compliance—they’re about giving you peace of mind. When you hire us, you can rest easy knowing you’re working with a professional, reputable team that stands behind its work.

  • Do you offer custom work or just stick to standard plans?

Everything we build is customized to the family we're building it for. We don’t do cookie-cutter work. Some clients come to us with plans already drawn; others just have a vision and a few inspiration photos. Either way, we collaborate with you to make sure the design fits your life and your land. Whether it's a full custom home or a unique remodel, we make sure every detail works for how you actually live.

  • Can I trust you to finish the job on time?

We know timing matters, and we also know how many people have been let down by bad experiences in the past. That’s why we communicate clearly from the start, set realistic timelines, and never overbook ourselves. If something changes, we tell you why and work with you on a solution. Our goal is always to finish when we say we will—and to do it without cutting corners or rushing important details.

  • How do you handle clients who live out of town?

A big part of our work is with second-home owners who aren’t always in Branson full-time. We use text, email, and regular photo updates to make sure you always know what’s going on. We’ve worked with clients who live out of state or even out of the country, and we treat communication like it’s just as important as construction. When you're not physically present, we work extra hard to make sure you still feel connected.

  • Do you help with permits and materials?

Yes, we handle everything. From pulling permits to sourcing materials, managing crews, and scheduling inspections—we take care of the entire process from start to finish. You don’t have to figure out who to call or what paperwork to fill out. We walk you through decisions on finishes, styles, and materials with clear recommendations so you always feel informed, but never overwhelmed.
